Speaker's Bio: Mike Flowers - Enigma Flowers leads Enigma’s analytics programs and platform development. Prior to joining Enigma, he served as New York City’s first chief analytics officer and chief open platform officer under Mayor Michael Bloomberg. During his tenure, he founded the Mayor’s Office of Data Analytics (MODA), a groundbreaking initiative in the use of public data focused on optimizing operations across more than 40 city agencies and $70 billion in annual budget. In addition, Flowers designed and oversaw the implementation of NYC Data Bridge, a citywide analytics platform that enabled the sharing and analysis of city data across agencies and with the public. Marie Lowman - Government Worldwide Product Marketing As international marketing manager for the government practice at SAS, Lowman is responsible for leading a marketing team that brings the power of SAS analytics to more than 80 countries’ public sector organizations. With more than 20 years of international public sector experience under her belt, Lowman is known for her hands-on selling, marketing, and management approach. She also currently serves as an elected council member for the City of Bee Cave, Texas. Oliver Wise - City of New Orleans Office of Performance & Accountability Wise is the director of the City of New Orleans Office of Performance and Accountability (OPA), the city’s first data analytics and performance management team. Launched in 2011 by Mayor Mitch Landrieu, OPA leverages data to set goals, track performance, and get results across city government. OPA's BlightSTAT program helped the city achieve a 10,000+ reduction in blighted addresses between September 2010 and December 2013, earning recognition as a Bright Idea from Harvard's Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation.
