Abstract: The fields of computer graphics, image processing and computer vision are inherently intertwined. Solutions to problems in one field are often influenced by methods from another. In this talk I will present examples of the blurring boundaries between the 3 fields which I have encountered while solving problems in medical visualization and information visualization, and during the development of interactive graphics applications. |
