SCALA 2012 - Scientific Computing Around Louisiana

The LSU Center for Computation & Technology (CCT) and Tulane University's Center for Computational Science will co-sponsor a meeting to:
(1) highlight cutting-edge topics in scientific computing,
(2) showcase the research at Louisiana institutions and,
(3) promote collaborations across the state of Louisiana.

This meeting is open to any faculty, post-doctoral researcher or student from any college in and around Louisiana. The meeting will start Friday at 1:00 p.m. and run through approximately 5 p.m. Saturday.

SUBMISSION & REGISTRATION:  We are no longer taking submissions.   Registration extended through January 13, 2012.

Posters: A poster session will occur on Friday afternoon.  Participants will be provided with an easel and poster board (size 30" x 40") for display purposes.

LODGING: special rates have been reserved for SCALA 2012 attendees at the Cook Hotel located on campus.

PARKING: Parking is available directly across from the Energy, Coast and Environment Building on Nicholson Extension Drive (Commuter Parking).  Note: The inner part of campus has restricted access on weekdays. Parking is available at the Visitor Center, Parker Coliseum or commuter lots off Nicholson Extension. A parking permit is required to park in these lots. Please check the box on the registration form to request a free parking permit. Permits will be available at the SCALA registration desk for those who selected this option. Click for map of campus.
