The Louisiana Technology Park and LSU Center for Computation & Technology will host the iOS Application Workshop for Professionals (6 day camp, Monday thru Saturday), at the Louisiana Technology Park located at 7117 Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge. This new educational experience offers professionals hands-on training in basic techniques to create and deploy mobile applications on iphones, ipods, and ipads. 

Participants will work hands-on in groups and will:

  • be introduced to the iOS-5 software development kit, X code and iOS Architecture
  • learn various iOS application development, processes and techniques
  • test and improve upon their new developmental skills
  • create an application that will be deployed on their own iPhones, iPods, or iPads
  • be introduced to mobile applications' business market, trends and opportunities.

Taught by Geniusport, an experienced mobile technology training company, this iOS course has been designed to also include numerous tips, tricks and lessons learned to help new iPhone App Developers succeed.

Prerequisites:  Entry-level programming experience and understanding of general computer use (PC, Linux or Mac); interest in learning & creating new technologies.  Click here for a summary of pre-workshop guides and/or tutorial information.

Registration and Cost:  $999.00 per person. Participants should bring their own Mac laptop to class, as well as their iphone/ipod/ipad. Students are responsible for their own transportation, lodging, and meal costs.
